introduce a range of greetings cards and chocolate working in collaboration with
other local businesses.
Becky describes herself as a perfectionist. She pays great attention to not only the
composition of the picture but also the colours and the place. They all have to work
together and she knows when it is right. She also has now embraced a small part
of the 21st century by using Photoshop to improve some of the final images after
her own creative handy work. She has surprised herself on this breakthrough!
Becky’s business has grown quickly and she now sells to suppliers all over the UK
through National Trust shops, other galleries and her own website. She is also on
www.notonthehighstreet.com. Becky has worked in collaboration with some big
names such as the London Underground, Great Western Railways, Penguin Books,
Watergate Bay Hotel and Lionsgate Films on private commissions. Her artwork is
due to be sold in a high end major high street retailer this Summer. Becky is
passionate about giving back to the community and does regular visits to local
schools who base their art projects on her work. “The South West has always had
an excellent number of creative artists and by engaging with the children and seeing
their love of art I know we have budding young talent coming forward.”
